WW2 - Did Mussolini cost the Nazis the war?

Any opinions please regarding Hitler delaying the invasion of Russia to help out Mussolini's mess in Albania (regarding the the Greek army's trouncing of Italian forces) and the subsequent severe russian winter (which they would not have encountered when they did, if they had invaded earlier) that stopped the Nazis in their tracks and basically cost them the war,
