wud u go to the church(4 ur wedding) on a bicycle?

my friend is a cycling-maniac. he's getting married soon, and came up with an idea. instead of using a limo/carriage, to get to the church, he, and his bride-to-be will arrive on his grandfathers VRY OLD, bike.

his fiance doesnt think its such a good idea, wud u do something like that?
 
i'm sorry but it seems very silly idea, and if i'm the bride i will think he wanna make fun of me
 
Maybe leaving on the bicycle would be fine. I would just worry about the dress touching a bit of grease or dirt on the tires, and then having a black mark on the dress for the whole day.
 
It sounds like he's listened to the song "Daisy" too often. (But you'd look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two)
Why would you want to get all sweaty? Her dress would get caught in the sprocket. I agree with the fiancee. It might be cute if they both just sat on the bike for pictures after the ceremony, though.
 
Love love love this idea! I had some friends of friends in Colorado who did something similar.

I think it's fresh and fun.
