You either misread or misunderstood my post...My point is that a 1098 is not a good choice for a first bike...If you disagree with that, that's fine, but don't start the name calling...Totally unnecessary & uncalled for...
Please explain how I misread your post. You tacked on that an 18 year old will most likely kill themselves on a 1098 as a first bike. What about a 40 year old on a 1098 as a first bike? That's what I am calling you out on.
Maybe we misfired in our posts, but age doesn't have anything to do with how I feel about a 1098 as a first bike. IMO, a 1098 is not a good first bike for anyone, of any age. I made my point regarding the 18 year olds because, based on my experience, that's been roughly (18-22) the age group of novices riders wanting a 1098 (or any litre bike) as a first bike.
