No credit due here, I was Air National Guard 174th TFW "The Boys From Syracuse". Been out since '94, not active duty. I still lend a hand when they need my specialty.

People say test ride the bike if you're interested in it. Well I was seriously considering a R6 or a gixxer & this dealership would not allow a test ride on street bikes AFTER I had purchased 2 bikes from them in a matter of 2 days!!! So I said F--- you & we found the Ducati & I have never looked back. Well you will say that was their loss...but they are now the F---in Ducati dealership in my town. They bought it from the former dealership, which was part of the reason for my purchase of the Ducati in the first place. The former dealership was great to do business with. So speaking from 1st hand experience, sometimes test rides are hard to come by.
Changing the subject though.....should I get highlights in my hair next time I get it cut....want to know someones opionion that has done this.....lol. Realize if this question is of no interest to you, you DO NOT have to answer...Isn't that the practice of a forum??

That is totally screwed regarding test rides. I haven't shopped for a jap bike in forever but Ducati, HD and BMW have demo rides locally. Love your choice in Ducs, I have her sister.

What do you mean you have her sister?? meaning you also have the 1098s??
Just thought that if you're not interested in someone's post, then no one is twisting your arm to contribute to it. Realize some posters just like to hear themselves talk, but sometimes people want to hear what other people's experiences have been with the bike. This is just my opinion
