wtf error codes?

when i woke up there was a message on my wii saying to update for the forecast channel.

i try to connect to the internet, no dice. cannot connect.
i check settings, try again, no dice.

all in all i redid it about 400 times, and once it started to download the update, then got an error.

i reconfigured my router and the wii in every possible way (literally)

wtf is going on?

Change the channel on you're router, my shit was doing this this morning

i have a WRT54G, on channel 11 now (1 did nothing), and ive tried it:

with security and a static ip
with security and firewall turned off and a static ip
with security and firewall turned off and DHCP
upgraded router firmware
etc etc.

wtf!!!!

UPDATE: i turn security back on, clear the wii connection settings and try again.

and it works.

what the crapping shitting farting hell is going on.

UPDATE: it updated, then it doesnt work again. fuck this.
