ill admit that the iphone does the internet pretty well. it looks badass.
however, it has no 3g. you are not always going to be in a wifi area (but you can say the same about not being in a 3g area - but 3g is widespread in major metropolitan areas)
imagine trying to show off your new phone or using it in a grind in an area with no wifi and waiting 5 minutes for the page to load

opera mini is the only thing that makes EDGE liveable... since it loads the images on a proxy server and scales them down to phone size, it works WAY faster.
