Hello. For my English class we have to write a self recommendation paper in preparation for college applications. It can't be too boastful but you can't put yourself down. I have no idea what to write about. He doesn't want the typical cliches, so none of that "i scored the winning goal!" crap. I do play the piano and hated it at first but now I love it...well there is obviously a longer story behind that. Should I write about that experience? I also have been interested in joining the military for awhile, is that something to write about? (By the way I'm a girl if that makes a difference.) I've only told one my good friends about joining the military so I don't know if I'd want to share it with my teachers or another student for peer editing. Any suggestions/advice would be very much appreciated!
