Writing a book for my senior project & need an appropriote way to write a sex scene...?

any suggestions? I know it sounds horrible, but it's not.
The books genre is romance/suspense.
In the book, the two characters make love on their prom night for the first time.

Now I know some people who write adult books would use all types of words to describe it.

But I need an appropriote way, to get across what's going on in the scene and what's happening, but not plain out writing "He stuck his dick in me for the first time."

I want it to basically have the reader know what's going on, but not plainly stating it bluntly.

Any suggestions on how to go about this?
thx.

Alright, then. Saying that they made love is a good way if you're looking for a quick way to do it. There could be a little more description afterwards but never really including sex in it.

Then again, there's the way that Stephenie Meyer wrote the sex scene in Breaking Dawn. She had to be mindful of all of the younger people reading it, so I think that way was subtle enough.

Good luck with that. xD

Check out the book "The Joy of Writing Sex". I had this same issue with my own book (still in progress).
