Sorry! I accidentally deleted the question...
My bad!!
I just need opinions on a book I'm writing. Best answer goes to the person that can give me some advice and, even some ideas on where to take it. This is going to be a series of books, as well. I am not planning on actually getting it published for a while.
Plot:
Axel Porter is a twenty-something Beta Male living in New York summer of 1789 who is about ready to marry the love of his life, Elizabeth Wellington. However, Elizabeth has other plans. She and her lover, Marcus Carpenter, murder Axel the night before and discard his body in the nearby lake.
Centuries later, Raven, a teenage girl obsessed with all things dead and dark, accidentally brings Axel back to live while playing around with an Ouija Board one night. She lets him live in her attic and well as teach him the ropes of the 21st century.
However once Axel falls asleep he is somewhat redirected to a new world. Wonderland, sort of a middle ground for the living and the dead, serves as a town for those that haven't fully passed on. There Axel meets Mona Lake, a beautiful woman from 1955 who accidentally shot herself in the forehead, Patrick, a successful businessman and adulterer, and Grady, a man accused of murdering his 8 year old daughter who was given death penalty in prison. They help him cope with dying as well as try to help him figure out how it happened. However, Elizabeth and Marcus live in the forests of Wonderland and they believe that it is their unfinished business to kill Axel both in Wonderland and the land of the living in order to rest in peace.
In the land of the living, Axel meets Jenna Albaneese, an eight grade english teacher with a boyfriend opposite Axel. He hides feelings for her and their relationship progresses throughout the books.

Thanks!
Oh- Axel and Raven remain friends throughout the entire book. Raven has a crush, but she's not in love or in anything serious for that matter.
Jenna and Axel meet when she hits him with her car while he's crossing the street- or attempting to.
