Hi guys. I was thinking about something recently. Most fantasy and science fiction readers tend to be young, adult males who fit in that stereotypical niche of the book worm and gamer geek. But on YA I know that many fantasy readers/writers are female and I was wondering if you would also fit into this niche of gaming.
So YA fantasy readers/writers:
1) Have you ever played computer-based games (like world of warcraft) or console video games? (includes free browser based computer games). If not would you?
2) Where do you learn of new, upcoming books? Do you actively seek out adverts of new books or wait until the grape vine trickles down this information? Or do you choose randomly when you walk into borders?
3) What age demographic do you fit into?
a) 9-15
b) 16-25
c) 26-40
d) 40 +
BQ: Do you eat anything directly out of the jar. For instance, pickles, olives, etc. If so, what?
BQ2: What was the coolest thing you dressed up as on Halloween
BQ3: Would you go to a comic con convention and dress up as some silly character?
BQ4: If you could borrow one trait from an animal (night vision, flying, fast runner, etc), what would it be?
Thanks
