Writer of The OC and Gossip Girl writing next X-Men movie?

Apparently Josh Schwartz, writer and producer of The O.C and Gossip Girl said in an interview that he is writing the next X-Men movie.

Considering how diiirrreee season 4 of OC was... and how much it deteriated from series 1 (and as much as I enjoyed series 1, I would never say it was well written... just looked pretty!) I really can imagine this ruining the Xmen franchise!

Hope Patrick Stewart refused to play in this!
Josh didnt even act like he was a fan of Xmen... infact it appeared the biggest reason he found to do it was because of the "huge pay check"!
