I need help! I have no idea how to do this proof. Canan altitudeelp me?! PLEASE!!!
Prove: If an isosceles triangle has analtitude from the vertex to the base, then the altitude bisects the vertex angle.
Given: Triangle ABC is isosceles; LineCD is the altitude to base LineAB
To Prove: LineCD bisects Angle ACB
Plan: If we can find that LineCD is equidistant from points A and B we can prov Line CD bisects angle ACB
Statemenisosceles Reasons:
Triangle ABC is isoseles; LineCD Given
Is the altitude to base LineAB
LineCD bisects angle ACB Theorem 4-5
