i was at my girlfriend's house. her dad and uncles and i were outside, messing around with the dirtbikes. her dad has a really touchy 1998 KTM 250 exc. her uncle (who is my best friend) dared me to do a wheelie. i hit a bump and my hand jerked a little. i flew back 7 feet and landed on my right knee, with my left leg straight out in front of me. i can walk, but it hurts like hell. my right leg hurts, and so does the right side of my ass (that's embarrassing to say...)
anyone else ever done this? i pretended to be fine in front of her dad and uncles and just sucked it up and went inside, when i wanted to scream. needless to say, my girlfriend doesn't want me on a dirt bike ever again.
so what should i do? will this get better in the next few weeks? (i start school august 19th, i'm in football, and i can't miss the first few games. and i don't want to start my senior year like this.)
