No one has PS3s in stock. Sony didn't launch with 400,000 units as promised. Most analysts think they launched with 200,000 units or less, and some analysts believe Sony won't even get 500,000 units into the US before Christmas is over. The numbers on the nextgenwars website sort of confirms this. Sony only launched with 85,000 units in Japan, so US launch would be around 170,000 units if those sold through numbers are correct. Sony royally FUCKED this launch up:

Yeah but it almost makes sense to buy a PS3 if you are thinking at all about buying a blu ray player. Because ironically it's cheaper than a blu ray player.

i went to best buy today, looking for a wii. i found many people looking for either a wii or a ps3. they are going to come in the store no matter what, just looking for the console of choice. i was tempted to buy something, but then I realized that i really didn't need anything
