If a plus one were implemented this year, it would match up Bama, Texas, Cincy and TCU. I don't regard Boise because they play in the pathetic WAC and only have one meaningful win all season. The SEC proposed the plus one a couple of years ago and all the other conferences shot it down. There is no doubt the system would settle this years debate while keeping the integrity of the regular season and keeping in tradition of the bowl games.

Michael - The way it would work would be that the #1 seed(Bama) would play the #4 seed (Cincy) and #3 would play #2. Then, the winners of each game would play each other.
