Hello, my name is Dana. I wish to run my candidacy for Sophomore President.
Student government is extremely important to me. Ever since first grade, I participated in many school activities and was known as unlimited leader. During my childhood I have changed 8 schools because my family moved many times. In all schools I have been attending, my heart and passion has belonged to student leadership. Throughout years of my life, I have both succeeded and failed and learned how to be a great experienced leader.In all of my schools I made a lot of friends, I am very good in dealing with people. Right now, people know a lot about me, and things that they all know are that leadership, care about people, and wish to participate and be a part of student government really are my life. Last school that I attended was of course Zimmen High School. Z H.S. Is absolutely the best of all schools I went to! Once I came in these doors, I found my new home. As a freshman class student a great time.In here I got a lot of knowledge from wonderful teachers, experienced many new events, and met wonderful classmates and other students. I truly do believe that being a class president is all about creating unity, and bringing our class together. I'm open to a variety of ideas from other students and wish to cooperate with them.I would like to plan and organize school events for J.Z students because I have tons of energy and school spirit. I can bring what our class needs right to the table so that we can succeed in giving students what they need. I wish to let student voice as a choice, and take care of everything to make it comfortable for students.Lastly, I was able to have the fortune of receiving a letter from People to People Leadership Programs. In this letter I had a pleasure to be nominated to attend wonderful leadership programs. I feel that this opportunity will help me get even more experience to share and invest to my school. I believe that I have the experience necessary to be able to run and be elected as a Sophomore Class President. I'm not doing this for my college application or for the fun of one year. I hope that I will be able to achieve and fulfill my goal to help make sure that everyone feels that they are a part of our class and that they are needed. I would be more than honored to help our class gain success, but no matter what, our class always comes first to me, this year and the years to come, whether or not I achieve my goal.
