...Sportster 1200C w/ 5K miles? I test drove the guys Harley Davidson Sportster 1200C and was shocked how much it vibrated! My TL1000R is Super Smooth of a ride compared to the 1200C Sportster. Not to mention double the horsepower. Only reason I'm considering it is because I'm bored and want a new toy. I hear HD require lots of maintenance compared to my TL. Thanks everyone.
I have a wife and two kids. I was thinking about the city cruising because one day highway racing will catchup to me. This bike is crazy fast (Which I love!) I'm 31 thinking I should slow it down a little. Thanks!
 
One is a highway race bike, the other is a city cruiser. If you will be cruising city streets the Sportster is the better choice. If you will be racing on the highways the Suzi's the better choice. If you are only switching because you are bored you are a fool. Which I doubt. More likely you are a troll who does not understand that top speed is not the goal of every rider out there.
 
I personally wouldn't do the trade, but then again I don't like HDs. You are correct, your TL is smoother and has more power, probably weighs less and has better brakes. The only reason to get the HD is if you want that image.
