Would you think someone was weird if they could talk to animals?

Lets say, for argument's sake, that I can talk to animals, as in, understand what they're saying. They have a voice. (I can't really, this is for my story that I'm writing) but what would your reaction be? Because I'm writing a story about a girl who can talk to animals and she's going to tell someone, what would be your reaction?
Okay....I wish more people would answer this question coz I wanna write my story now! lol :)
