...something you? are not willing to tell them about, when they probe, will hurt them? Would you run away from telling them, even if they may be quite clued in already? Or is this the action of a person who is scared of greater losses - as in, you tell them and they could be ashamed of you? You like them, but you have a history which you don't want them to know about eventhough they are good friends with you.
