Especially given the victim was later murdered by the same four guys who assaulted her. Or was the rape scene from The Accused the worst? I haven't really seen Boys Don't Cry, Irreversible, or I Spit on Your Grave. What about Straw Dogs, with Dustin Hoffman? You should see the homosexual gang-rape in Spetters. Now, that was tense stuff.

Last House on The Left was pretty horrible. Not something that I particularly enjoy in movies.

I agree with all of the previously mentioned movies.
But for some reason, the scene in "Speak" really gets to me... I think it's because it's so realistic and easy for me to imagine happening. It sends shivers down my spine every time I watch it. Sooo heartbreaking.
