Would you refuse a donor because of a bad lifestyle?

I do. And have, it's stipulated on paper in fact, why?
It is because I have smoked, drank and not given a toss about such warnings.
To me it's common sense, but other people have said to refuse such a gift is to deny life itself.
Maybe there is a truth there, but to me such a blessing should go to a much younger and worthy subject.
Tell me I'm wrong.

You're saying you would refuse the gift of donation because of your own reckless lifestyle.

I see the case of John Philips as a prime example of someone who abused himself, was given another chance, continued self abuse until he was dead.

I think, in spite of your previous behavior your decision is admirable and moral.
