We had an Accord of that vintage. Expect that it will need new gaskets after you buy it.

saturn american cars are way better and a 700 dollar car will last u bout a week definitly go with the saturn

I bought a '88 Accord with 200k miles for $900 several years ago and it was the best used car I ever owned. Never had a problem taking it on 300+ mile non-stop trips and it got 40mpg.

Sold it after a year and 20,000 miles of trouble free driving. I'd love to have that car back!

Wayyyy too much money for a Saturn that old. Would have helped if you included the mileage and condition. Given what you have as information I would go with the Honda Accord.

How many miles on each car? Under the hood, any oil or other gunk on the side or underneath the engine? Look at the brakes, especially the rear brakes. Are the rotors smooth and flat? These will tell you if the car was cared for and what shape it is in now. Over all the Honda does have a better reputation, but not that much better
