Would you reccomend me author Robin Mckinley?

I am from Czech republic and books from Robin McKinley are almost unknown here. But I love fairytales and my friends from US recommend me to check her books out. Is it really that good? Should I buy her books (from internet)? What is the best from her? I am interested in Deerskin or Beauty...
