Getting A Clue

My book is to be a novel.
It's 42 pages so far with around 16,000 words.

It is about this girl named Hannah who is 12. She's an average girl with okay grades and pretty good looks. Her parents are divorced and she has two brothers. She has some family issues between her older brother and her dad, her younger brother and her step-mom.
When she realizes she and both her brothers are beginning to get stalked, she gets a little freaked out.

She finds herself captured by her stalker-who is the same age as her-and some man who she does not know the name of. They take her to Florida where some pretty strange things and some big honors and hard training are to come into her future.

When she gets there, she finds there are five other kids already there. One yet to come. She is welcome with a huge room which she adores.

But she gets suspicious again. No one has answered any of her questions the whole day and she is sick of it. She tells the oldest boy of the six, Logan that she was given information by one of the girls, Amanda. The other five kids get in a huge fight and they kick her out of the room. She feels so alone and doesn't know what is happening so she cries only to find herself sitting next to her older brother a few minutes later.

She finds out all her questions are to be answered the following day at the "Greetings Meeting" (Yes, the name is supposed to be corny.)

What she doesn't know is that she is part of something called "The Powerful Seven." Every century or two, descendants-from the same generation-of the original seven are chosen to defeat something that comes down from space to try to destroy the human race every so often.

The kids are trained and the kids' siblings are also taken there to be helpers in the whole situation.

It is a big honor but the kids just don't know it yet. The idea is that kids can be powerful as well and with a team, you can accomplish anything. Even saving the human race. :D

It's sort of sci-fi and sounds like The Fifth Element. But it's nothing like that.
The question of truth: WOULD YOU READ IT??
It doesn't really talk about space as much as it sounds.
It's more about the issues the seven kids run into along the way.
