“why did you wear your boat shoes today? Did you go boating?” my mother asks laughing. She’s laughing because in her mind, me going boating is the most far-fetched thing. But I did in fact go boating. Well, not actually. I went to the yacht club and had sex on a boat. With two guys. I just thought it would be cool to wear boat shoes though.
