Would you rather buy a ASP or PHP script if both looked and worked the same? I'm planning on developing a Online estimation and invoicing application, that you can buy online for $39 and install it on your own server, and I cant get my head around if I should do it in ASP or PHP?
Could you guys help me out here and maybe give me a few links where this is discussed or gives statistics in any way?

Yes, Invoices will not be editable once they're created. You will basically only be able to add payments to invoices. Thats it.
Access rights for different levels of users will be incorporated yes. Thanks.

I will probably also have to make an access right for clients to view, accept, decline, challenge or download their quotes and invoices.
