Would you prefer a Stewie and Brain Road to Road spin off or Cleavland spin off?

I know the spin off has already been given the go and it already has a second season LOL. I'm just asking though, if you were givin a choice which one would you choose?

They have some great chemistry, but IMO B+S a spin-off seems like... well, basically selling out and catering to the Stewie worshipping fanbase more than they already have been. It's nice to give other characters a chance at least.

Eh? He's got one of the biggest fan base in Family Guy. I'd prob prefer a Stewie/Brain Road to Road far better than the spin off they have now. But I'm willing to give it a chance, reasons why? Stewie could use inventions or they could travel around the world there really funny together and I love there songs they do. Forgot to say I love there friendship, its cute.

Oh, but I thought most people were indifferent to him now that his personality has changed?

I prefer it that way though. Watching old episodes, the "vile woman" schtick makes me cringe.

While I really love the Road To episodes, I don't think a spinoff series would be very good. The episodes are few and far between and that's how it should be. After a few episodes the concept would become tired. Just, no.

That's just people on this forum, not the general public.

But yeah, I'm one who agrees that Stewie & Brian really don't need any more exposure than they already have. Plus, I think even the original "Road To" episodes were overrated, let alone the more recent ones.

*resists urge to take advantage of typo in thread title*

Anyway, Brian is my favorite character, and I love the 'Road To...' episodes, they are best as one-offs. They do enough with Stewie as it is, don't they?

I'd personally dig a Brian spin-off.

I disagree, I do not think a Brian spin-off or Stewie and Brian spin-off would be great at all. Stewie and Brian are not that likable anymore, and the writers of "Family Guy" are giving them way too much attention, they need to focus on the lesser characters, as well, and bring them into the spotlight, so that is why I think giving Cleveland his own show is a good idea, that and Cleveland is an alright character, maybe not one of my favorite characters on the show, but one I strongly like. I would have loved to see, however, a spin-off with Death, Death obviously be the one from the show, that would have been neat.

The "Road To" episodes have been declining in quality with each one, I think, mainly due to the fact that Brian and Stewie's chemistry just isn't as dynamic as their personalities continue to evolve (or de-volve, as many think). So no, I wouldn't enjoy an entire series based around it.

The Brian and Stewie episodes are fine as very occasional specials, but no way in hell could they hold up a series. I don't know how they'd even get through a single season.

Then again I have no idea how the Cleveland Show is going to get through two seasons without recycling material from Family Guy.

Stewie and Brain pretty much dominate FG already, so a spinoff of "Road To" episodes into a series would just be FG with 2 of the 3 main characters.

If Stewie and Brian were going to stay on Family Guy, what would be the point of spinning them off? That would just be Family Guy. FG is practically the Stewie and Brain show already.

But to answer the question: no, an S&B spinoff would just be overload. The "Road To..." episodes are best left as an occasional thing.

Why would Stewie and Brian need a spinoff series when the 2 of them practically run Family Guy as it is?

I say no; The "Road to..." episodes are OK once in a while, but they wouldn't be funny week after week.

Given the choice, I'd vote for no FG spinoff at all. I know that it isn't fair to pre-judge a show before it's premiere, but I've see some of the previews and based on what I've seen, The Cleveland Show just looks like a watered down Family Guy with the main cast painted brown. I don't see Cleveland lasting longer than 2 seasons max.

I could think of a way a road to.. show could work. They could go on diferent adventures every week parodying different movies. I would rather have a spinoff on Cleaveland though because we can see more of his personality than just the soft spoken nice guy.

Ok now the no spin off period I agree with you about. I mean I'm going to give this new spin off a chance, it could be good, American Dad turned out good after a few episodes. But I do love those Road to Road episodes. As some one already said they could just travel to different places for different reasons. But I guess your right, besides take these two guys out of the show and well...There's a Road to Road next season any ways that I am looking forward to.

A lot of people think it would be better for a Quagmire spinoff show.

Besides, Stewie and Brian are basically the stars of the show now. Why would they even need a spin-off?
