So, here's a riddle I have in my cellphone I couldn't figure out.

Suppose there's a clothes you want that cost $97(forget the currency).
You already have $50 so you borrowed $25 each from your mother and father. Now you have $100.
You bought it and get a $3 as a change. You pay back your parents $1 each so now you owe them $24 and you have $1 left.
Now, add 24+24+50+1 and you'd end up with $99..
But you started with a $100, so the question where did the $1 go?
