I asked a similar question already in Adolescent, but I wanted to see if I'd get answers here.
I'm 16, in 10th grade. In the last 5 years (including this year), I've missed 5 1/2 days of school - one of which was last week because I had a long appointment and for the first time, my parents let me stay home without being sick. I've also never faked sick.
It's 1:30 am. I went to bed at 10:30, haven't slept, am not tired, and have to be up at 6. If I barely got any sleep (as in, an hour or less, which is highly possible), would you let me stay home? Or would you pick me up early from school, especially if I don't feel well due to tiredness?
