Would you know if your hymen broke bike riding?

I've never understood the claim that you can break it engaging in activities like bike riding because I've never heard someone say "I went to the bathroom after riding my bike and had blood on my underwear."

Does it not bleed if broken in this way?

I'm curious how likely it is that I still have mine, but I don't want to like look down there...that's awkward and not to be gross, but I have huge inner labia that like get in the way of seeing anything anyway; it sucks.
 
Sure it can break this way and of course there may be some blood. If it's concerning you so much make an appointment with your doctor to find out for sure. Various non sexual activities can cause your hymen to break. The hymen is only a mucous membrane and not thick at all. Don't worry, if you have never had sex it does not mean that you are no longer a virgin.
