I think I'll call it ...
To Stand in Shadows
In the darkest of the shadows
And with no false modesty
Content to cast none of my own
Nor dare to say it's poetry
Still, I write.
I am disinclined to move
Toward the outer light
But to hide in darkest shadows
And just write what I may write
Tis those who cast the shadows
Are the thrill of thrills for me
Impossible to name them all
Who gave me poetry
But still, I write
In answer to a recent question...Thx
