Would you have complained if this happened to you?

Took a date to a really nice restaurant. The waiter spilled sauce onto my shoulder. I was wearing a sleeveless top (similar to my avatar) so it dripped on my skin. But I was mad anyway because it's a very expensive (Hugo Boss) shirt. If it DID have sleeves, it would be ruined. I wanted to tell the manager but my date asked me not to so I didn't.

I would definitely complain about it. Not make a big thing out of the incident, but certainly would have brought it under the manager's attention.

I hope the waiter at least apologized to you?

If it was clearly an accident, even if you lost your temper & got mad at the people responsible, the best thing they could have done is ask for your forgiveness. The shirt is already ruined anyways. The situation could not have been helped with getting mad & complaining to the manager who, even if you did talk to him, will probably just say how sorry they are as well. The best way you could've handled the situation is to accept the apology. If that wasn't offered, then just forgive anyways. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Things are never more important than people...that's a thing you should never forget. If you know that, then you know you can lose just about anything in the world & still be ok with it.Also try not to be too brand conscious with clothes, the truth remains, it's just a thing. The time you realize that is the time you start saving yourself from a lot of expenses in the future.

I would have complained about it. They should have give you the cost of having it cleaned or to buy a new one. Not only that but if it was hot sauce it could have burnt your skin.
