You can't wire four 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms.

It's going to be 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

im upgrading dramatically from a cheap 1 10inch TIS AUDIO sub to 4 12inch pioneers. they are 4 ohms rated at 400 watts rms each and im going to wire them down to 2 ohms and im thinking of getting this amp

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14906_Power+Acoustik+BAMF-5500-1D.html

the subs are going to be 1600 together and the amp says 2300 at 2ohms but i know that power acoustik overrates their stuff

any good?

That is a good starter amp. it should sound nice.

Just want to clarify something, if those subs are single voice coil, you can only have a one or four ohm load.
