a palm 750. I am really thinking of getting on for the 3G (im on cingular). Would the 8525 or the 750 be better for websurfing

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es61)

I dont know but i know palm 750 is having alot of issues with battery life so think twice before u make a move

i would go for the 8525. bigger screen and nicer keyboard. i just don't like palm's keyboards. would i give up my e62 for it though? i would only if i could sell it and buy another e61/e62 and get an n73! but if i had to keep and use the 8525 no way. that thing is too bulky, even if it has 3g. that and i would miss symbian alot.

Nokia would make a killing with ANY US 3G S60 device.

I had the BlackJack recently, and gave it up simply because I found windows mobile to be completely unusable. As much as I loved 3G, it's not worth it if the phone itself blows.

I'm going through the same thing with the Blackjack right now. The 3G speed is wonderful. WM5 Smartphone is awkward and buggy. I wouldn't quite go so far as to say "unusable", but it is incredibly frustrating. Samsung also made some really bad design decisions. Give me Symbian or Blackberry any day over WM5.

My Cingular SIM will probably go back in my E70-2 once I get sufficiently frustrated with the Blackjack. If I need UMTS for tethering, the Sierra Aircard 860 I just bought will do the trick.

I have both the e61 and the 8525 (tytn). I like to be able to go back and forth to keep myself happy. The HSDPA is quicker but the browser on the e61 is the best of all mobile devices and makes up for some for the slower speed.

I've also had the Treo 750v but found that the smaller screen resolution leaves something to be desired when surfing. I do alot of mobile surfing.

THe ultimate device would be a E61 with HSDPA and faster processor.
