band *in high school? We had a pep rally about a while ago at my school and my teachers asked my band if we wanted to play a song. We said sure, we felt pretty confident with giving a good performance for Welcome to the Jungle to really get the crowd moving. My teacher that controls a lot of the things going on in the pep rally said that song is inappropriate for such an event. She said why don't we play something like We are the Champions instead, but we weren't confident enough to do that song justice.
Do you think Welcome to the Jungle is inappropriate for HIGH SCHOOL? It talks about being high but it's easy to not draw attention to that because the song goes so fast..
