Would you classify people with tattoos as having an alternate lifestyle?

Wtf? No everyone has tattoo's now days, that doesnt mean u have an alternate lifestyle.
 
I think in the past it used to be but now having a tattoo is very mainstream. I know some really straight people (like my sister who is a doctor) that have them. If it is a large tattoo that is noticeable I think it really means that the person has a message they want to share with the world, and perhaps this could be interpreted as "alternative" in that they choose to share it in this way rather than verbally shout it out. I also think that body piercings are the tattoos of the millenium. Piercings on the body itself insinuate sexual pleasure in an unusual way alluding perhaps to an "alternative lifestyle".
 
In all my years, I still don't understand why people get tattoos... What all does it prove..? Do they think it looks nice..? Or as they say "cool"...? Is it nice to had a damn big "something" on your skin.. Especially with all those ugly colors they use... Blues, reds, greens... look actually UGLY..!!!
And they are a proof positive identification,,, If anyone gets into a "situation: they can easily be id'd by their stupid tattoos..
And they are more so on a woman... Women are not supposed to look like longshoremen, or creatures from a sideshow...!!
People should get a tattoo on their forehead which reads "Look At The Stupid Thing I Did..!!!"
Wait until you have to try and get rid of these monstrocities

Generally, people who decide to get tattoos are straying from the norm. Permanent ink on your body is looked down upon in most cases, whether you're trying to find a job or are trying to look presentable. The infamous "Tramp Stamp" (tattoo on the lower back on women) is a good example. When a girl is seen with one of those, she is quickly labeled as white trash. Most porn stars have one haha
 
no. my bro has tons of em . he is a tatoo artist too. he is a regular person. he looks like one too for all u stupid ppl that think ppl with tatoos r stupid.
 
No but having tattoos isn;t all that great. Most people that get them want them off in a few years or so because they get tired of them.
 
Personally, as a tattoo lover, I believe that having tattoos does not make you have an alternative lifestyle. Possibly alternative opinions, beliefs, etc. but not an alternative lifestyle.
Having a tattoo does not change you from the rest of the world's population. Beliefs, rituals, etc. are what make up alternative lifestyles.
Remember, tattoos are just ink.
 
No, I know some people with lots of tattoos. They're ordinary people with ordinary lives.
