Would you buy it?

Last night, it was announced on the news that there is a new Television being made that is supposed to automatically freeze the station that it is on to prevent channel surfing during commercial. My question is would you buy this TV?

My predictions would be a big fat No Sale.
 
I don't even purchase the electronic gizmos in our house. Hubby does. He doesn't channel surf through the commercials but I know him well enough to say this wold not come in our house. He has a defiant problem with anyone telling him what he is going to watch. I wonder what ad exec came up with this bright idea.
 
No...This is a very stupid idea. Is it supposed to make sure that you don't miss some of your show when it comes back on? If it is, it would be much better if it just came up with an alert that said your show is back on/is about to come back on.
 
Heck NO!! it's bad enough that it seems more and more now that when you change the channel during a commercial to watch another show/movie, they all seem to put commercials on at the same time so you HAVE to watch commercials anyway :angry:
 
I would give the T.V. a shot. Maybe it would dispense tap water too. Rub your feet. Hell, a T.V. with independent thought has got to be able to warm up soup. Im lovin it!
