Mean people suck!

My husband doesn't understand why this upsets me. We knew a nice guy who lived a few miles from us and he died last spring and his car has been sitting there. His grandson told my husband he was selling it, so my husband wants to buy it for me. I tried to make him understand that it is really uncomfortable for me to think of driving this man's car. He thinks the car is better because he knows who owned and drove it. We actually got in a fight over it, and we never fight. Am I the only one who is uncomfortable driving around in their dead neighbor's car? A neighbor that died very suddenly and it was a great shock. Should I just suck it up and drive it?
