Sorry for English, I am from Spain.
Hello, I am 46 years old and cannot exercise because of my bad back and knee. My food is already very healthy.
I am 50lbs over my weight.

Thank-you for your answer. (:

Any physical activity will help you burn calories. The only difference is the intensity, or how hard we work. Using a stationary bicycle will help you lose weight as long as you do them for a long time at a constant speed to have your heart pumping for many minutes.

But most of the weight loss is from good dieting.

A stationary bike is a great way to burn some calories and get your metabolism boosted. The only question I have is with your bad back and knees is going for a walk possible? If you can that is also a great way to burn some calories and you could mix the two up to keep variety in your exercise program. Hope that helps!
