Would u use a hybrid phone on cricket.

I was think on flashing some IC502 and ic902 to cricket. Do you think people would want them?? Would you use them?? I know u can use cricket and a boost sim card to get direct connect on the phone. I think having both on one phone is cool/!!
 
actually one on hand iw ould use them if i knew alot of people who chirps...which i kno none...( i had that problem when i did have chirp ) but also on another hand... the hybdrid wouldnt b capaple of web and mms..... and i do not think trading mms/wap for chirp is a fair trade....at all
 
im still trying to figure out how i would do it. i assume its a simple swap with the boost sim, but im not sure on the cdma side. i would like to do this.
 
Figured out the sim lock. Put in the boost sim card and it'll come up saying invalid sim, dial ##(your msl)# and "edit" your information (re-enter your msid again) so it reregisters the sim to the phone.
 
na with iden nextel/boost u dont have to unlock since.. its all one company anyways side a boost sim in a nextel phone and it will work ... the cdma of the phone is in fact sprint tho which..in fact..has a msl... and since its a hybrid and a weird phone good luck with that
 
If you have a ppc around use GetSPC, since its a sprint phone, and generate the msl using it. Just make sure that you keep it in all caps... (Case sensitive, learned that the hard way)
 
I think its mafia time for this feller.

because that was the one issue i kept hitting on the attempt to unlock the boost side, normal programs wouldnt work, because it wouldnt "marry" the boost card to the phone. :clapping:
 
I just got my ic902 flahed to work with Pocket & Boost and it works great!
if could only figure out how to access te web I would be truly happy. any suggestions?
 
you can use a boost sim in a nextel, but not a nextel sim in a locked boost phone.

although i heard the hybriRAB use a "special" sim. i havent confirmed this.
 
Anyone know how to flash these phones? I got the unlocking part on a ic502 Done.| I just changed the MSL to 000000.

What I want to do is reflash the phone and "hopefully" enable the 850MHz CDMA band in it.

Anyone had any success in flashing one? What software did you use? v365?
 
let me know if you are local in colorado springs? i think i may have spoken to you before. but i have a bunch of ic502/ic402 that i would give you if you could help me with a flash on 2 amp's rzrs

Also I did get a hold of an ic402, and I can't even begin to hack it, lol. I've tried to find drivers for it, but most of them are for the iden half of the phone or dont work for my purposes (bitpim/rsd). Any help on the best driver for hacking the CDMA half of this phone?
