Come on, look who said that, Hillary Clinton: if her mouth is moving, she is lying! She wanted people to identify with her party. Do you really think he would have support of abortion on his platform? Or rights for sexuality that equals the rights of people who are without a doubt born a to a certain race? There is no comparison, and they have not proved their case. Lincoln would know that this crap is tearing our country apart, he was a uniter, not a divider.

If you study the Republican party from 1850-1912; they stood for protectionism, strong central government, the building of infrastructure (mostly railroads), and was controlled by big businessmen who preached Lassie-Fair; as long as they were the ones benefiting.
