Would Tyler Perry's films be perceived differently if his casts were less homogenous?

I think the Tyler Perry films are great because of the strong messages in his films about enduring tragedy even though they are melodramatic but I think if he casted non-African-Americans for some of the lead roles it would be easier to get the idea that the films are meant for ALL human beings and not just meant for "black" people because all the main actors are African-American. Like if Ming Na or Jessica Alba were cast as the wife of one of the black husbands and Wes Studi or Russell Wong were cast as the husband of one of the black wives I think it would be easier for some people to look past the "racial" context of the movie and get to the heart of it being problems and emotions that affect everybody. Then Tyler's films might be thought of more as "human" films and not just "black" films simply because of the genetic bodily features of the actors.
