Would this work for some exercise during the day for a 13 year old?

hmm seems like it would work, but remember to not overdo yourself.
But actually, walking is alot easier and less strenuous, but can still burn off fat. Do some power-walking. try walking to school, etc. do everyday activities but incorporate some strain into them. you need to commit.

well i was thinking since i'm a little overweight lol.. (61.4kg >.>) and have some fat to get rid of i was thinking if i did these 20 metre sprints like this would it be alright for me (just so you know i'm not that fit or athletic) anyways i was thinking of doing this

1st day in the week i would do 5 reps of a 20 meter sprint (full out as hard and fast as i can) 20 seconds rest for 3-5 sets then in the 2nd day i would just go for a cycle up hill for half an hour or then 3rd day repeat day 1 day 4 repeat day 2 and so on...
i was just going to do this throughout the week (i would do more but i can't exactly sprint or run much since i have Osgood-schlatter disease for about a year and it hurts when i run thats why so short) was wondering if that would help burn off some fat? i know it isn't much but i don't exercise often and i am overweight and if my knees improve i am thinking of going a bit harder..

so just a reply if it is alright thanks :S
