Tragic Flaw
Let's just be honest for a second.
I've almost got it all.
I'm funny, smart, caring,
and not too bad looking.
But let me be open for a second.
I've got a little tragic flaw.
You see, I tend to get caught
even when they're not hooking.
Let me just
make it easier.
My flaw is
I fall hard,
Like a meteor.
Sometimes the attraction burns up
in the atmospheric crush phase.
In fact, very few times have I made impact.
But when I do,
I commit.
I find a target and lock on it.
And I fall, fall, fall
Down this rabbit hole
Like I'm Alice in wonderifshelikesmeland.
Tweedle me thinks I'm Tweedle dumb
For falling for this red queen.
But she can't cut off my head,
Just this heart on my sleeve.
