Would this bike work for me?

I am new to biking and I am going to do a 150 mile ride in 2 days for Leukemia in July Would this Bike be ok I am not doing it to race just finish! I need something more upright or my back will hurt!

I am 5 foot 7..........150 pounds! The bike is the one below but I can get it New on Craigslist for $100.00!!!!
