My son with my ex's name is Breighton James. now im pregnant again. if its a girl its Savannah. if its a boy i want 2 name him after his dad,Aaron James. but the problem is Breighton and Aaron would ahve the same middle name. would that be 2 weird? should i use a different middle name?

no way. I have the same middle name as my brother and sister. it is my mom's middle name
 
It wouldn't be weird, but wouldn't the kid feel like they have an unorigional name? or that their parents just couldnt think of another name that had some significance? (think grandparent's names, historical people, etc)
 
i dont think this would be weird at all, my sister and i have the same middle name and either of us dont mind, beacuse were named after our mother,

I don't think it would be weird but if it's bothering you I can think of some other middle names for Aaron.

My family has eight kids in it, six of us have the same middle name. I don't think it would be weird at all. Those are both good names. If you were really set on changing the middle name then I would choose something like:

Aaron Alexander
Aaron Tobias
Aaron Andrew
Aaron Damien
Aaron Alec

Sorry I'm not good with middle names. But I do think you should have a different middle name for them. It wouldn't be weird though.
 
That's really not too weird. Not to mention they won't often have anyone use their middle names so it won't as if you are calling them the same name daily.
