Would this be an acceptable answer for the June 2009 Living Environment Regents?

The question was:

54. State two ways that the use of windmills to produce energy would be beneficial to the
environment. [2]

Well for the first one I wrote that it would be clean energy, which is right.
But for the second one, I wrote, will power 30,000 homes. Is this also an acceptable response? I mean it's helping the environment when it's powering 30,000 homes...
 
No man sorry it doesn't have anything to do with the environment. The three suggested answers they put include direct relations with the environment:

— no air pollution from windmills
— burn less oil/coal
— Wind is a renewable resource.
 
Hmm... possibly, I assume a lot of kids wrote that. I said that it uses less power (2%) and that it does not release any harmful toxins. Producing power to 30,000 homes is not really helping the environment....
