Would this be a good system?

Would having 2 Pioneer Premier TS-W3001D4 that run at 1000 watt RMS each with at least a 4000 watt amp?

ya it would probably be a good setup, but when your looking for amps for those, compare the peak RMS rating, not watts
 
hey, i just wanna say.. im glad to see someone else knows about that website (onlinecarstereo) ive bought all my car stuff from there..it came early. and it all works great. and that site saved me hundreds.. literally.

i dont know too much about pioneer subs. personally, i feel i guess..safe with alpine/kicker/jbl. if i were you, id get two kickers, or two alpine type r's or something. but thats just me. i know that type r's have the bang for your buck (all i hear is people telling me how they give like 200 EXTRA watts to their type r's ALL DAY LONG and they run amazing)

as far as the amp.. if you're getting 2 12's with 1krms then you should only need 2k watts for your amp...
dont overpower your stuff..thatll make it just as likely to blow as underpowering.
