Would this be a good Sub / Amp Combo?

So ive been looking around at subs and amps im looking to spend around $500 at the most and one of my friends who knows alot about car audio (or at least so I think) told me to look at this amp and sub combo. Do you guys think that this combo is going to provide good crisp bass that is still pretty loud?

The amp is a good choice but I would go with Infinity subs instead. Just my opinion.
