Would this be a Fair assumption why fox news has high ratings?

According to every conservative all the news station whether it be CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, BBP, etc, are all liberal, while Fox news is Fair and Balance. ( lol ) So in the mean time while all the liberals/ independents are spread out through all the news station, Fox news is like the main and only gathering point for the conservatives.

Conservatives the proof is in this last election, and that's why you got your a#$ spank
 
Conservatives are generally more inclined to get their news from more traditional sources (TV, radio, etc.), while liberals are more likely to use newer forms of media like the Internet.

That's why Fox's and Limbaugh's ratings are through the roof, and also explains why the majority of political blogs are liberally biased. I'm not trying to bash anyone here; I just wanted to give an explanation at a psychological level.
 
Sorry if I don't bow to your belief, but Fox looks more at both sides of the story and covers stuff that is important.
